Brad Chase

Brad Chase joined Capitol Media Partners in January 2011 as Partner.  His skills and expertise in communications and public relations has been honed in nearly ten years of serving dozens of FORTUNE 500 companies.  In managing a broad variety of projects, he has experience spanning the communications spectrum - including media relations, issues/crisis management, relationship building, social media, public affairs, customer/client engagement, executive visibility, corporate social responsibility and general public relations.

Prior to joining Capitol Media Partners, Chase was the Director of Communications at DaVita Inc, a FORTUNE 500 company with more than $6 billion in annual revenue and 34,000 employees.  His tenure included serving as the acting head of communications for the company, a role in which he supervised a staff of 12 people in the execution of all external/internal communications initiatives.

Prior to joining DaVita, Chase worked for two of the leading international PR agencies, Hill & Knowlton and Fleishman-Hillard, and has represented some of the largest companies in the world - including Wal-Mart, Hilton, Symantec, DaVita and WellPoint.

Additionally, Chase has experience in the political arena, serving as Press Secretary for the Democratic candidate in a special election for the United States House of Representatives’ seat in California’s 48th district in 2005.

Chase received his master’s degree in strategic public relations from the University of Southern California and a dual bachelor’s degree in politics and philosophy from the University of Virginia.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, he serves on the Advisory Council for Clark Street Capital and is a member of the thinkLA “Only in L.A.” committee.

Richard Grenell

Richard A. Grenell has nearly two decades of experience in all aspects of communications and public affairs, as well as extensive on and off-air commentary and lecture experience. Grenell has served as the primary communications advisor for public officials at the local, state, federal and international levels, as well as for a Fortune 500 ranked health care company (DaVita, Inc.) with roughly $6 billion in revenues. Currently, Grenell is a Partner with Capitol Media Partners and is based in Los Angeles, CA.

While at DaVita, Inc., Grenell was responsible for a Corporate Communications budget of roughly $2 million, managed a team of twelve professionals and reported to the CEO. Grenell revamped DaVita's Communications operations by drastically cutting the use of external vendors and hiring an internal team to begin building the brand – all while still saving over $300,000. He and his team managed all internal and external communications including the production of several publications.

Grenell was appointed in 2001 by President George W. Bush to serve as Director of Communications and Public Diplomacy for the United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations. In this role, Grenell advised four U.S. Ambassadors - John D. Negroponte, John C. Danforth, John R. Bolton and Zalmay Khalilzad - on the formulation and articulation of United States policy at the United Nations. Grenell was also appointed by John C. Danforth in 2004 as an Alternative Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations Security Council with full voting rights and privileges.
